What is the KVYP exam?
KVYP stands for “Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, “representing the national companionship program. In this program, those students who are interested in research in basic science are selected. This test was conducted annually by the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. For example, suppose you are a student in class 11 to 1st year of the undergraduate program in basic science like B.SC, B.S., and B.math in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. In that case, you are eligible for this program.

KVYP EXAM ELIGIBILITY
The KVPY Eligibility Criteria for the SA Stream for 2022
| Only those eligible students with science subjects for this stream and those with at least 75% marks in math and science in class 10 (65% for SC/ST/PWD). |
Eligibility Criteria for the KVPY SX Stream for 2022
| Only those students eligible who has science in class12 or Cambridge International Examination Board second-year students must be studying. Moreover, the student has at least 75% in mathematics and science in the 10th standard (65% for SC/ST/PWD).

| Students got selected if they had 60%marks in math and science in class12th and 50% for SC/ST/PWD).
